International Centre for Agricultural Education - CIEA

Welcome to the CIEA website

The CIEA (Centre international d’études agricoles) is an international study center for agricultural education and extension.

Its activities are aimed at persons (professors, teachers, extensionists, and other specialists) working at agricultural universities, colleges, vocational schools and extension services as well as in NGOs (non governmental organisations).

The main activities of the CIEA are:

• to organize international seminars in the field of education and extension in agriculture / in the rural sector.

• to offer a network for specialists working in agricultural or rural education or extension

The CIEA is based in Berne, Switzerland, and managed by the Swiss College of Agriculture, Zollikofen.

The CIEA regularly collaborates with partners from all over the world.
